Overall quality of the bike was nice, only bad thing is that some of the rear tires spokes weren’t tight, so was riding on way home and the back tire went all weird…

Really nice ebike for the sale price. Would not have been worth it full price. Packed well, assembly was not hard, works fine. App is iffy and it said to access theft system through the app, but there is no option for that and Bird support sends you in circles, addressing their scooter with zero on the Bird Bikes.

I purchased the Bird bike for my wife who has back problems. It is perfect. She can now join me on long bike rides where she can go on 24 mile trips with me rather than me going along. The battery is long lasting and the speed adjusts to where she can keep her speed to match mine at 14-15 mph. It's a great way for us to do an activity together I normally do alone.

I had two of them shipped to me, and just finished assembling. Heavy cardboard box, and very well wrapped. Discard the box by cutting down to 3’ x 2’ pieces and bundle for recycle. The directions are pictorial and could not be clearer. I followed, along with the YouTube link. The one screw going vertical is hard to start, but get down underneath to visualize what you’re doing. The rubber bung for the seat-post adjustment bolt, well, that’s not going back in. I just used a 1 inch patch of black plastic tape. Wow, the design, quality of material, the fit and finish is amazing. Five stars after one block last night. Caution buyers. It rolls on 28 inch wheels, so more a road bike. Many of us have become accustomed to using mountain bike with smaller wheels. That’s fine but watch the straddle height. I am 5 foot nine and barely get my crotch above that bar standing flat. To mount the bike you do put a foot on the pedal and throw your leg over so that’s not a problem. Wow, but the bike looks good. I can’t take my eyes off of it. I’ll come back with a report in a few weeks. I plan to use it on compacted gravel trails in my area not on the road except around the block or between trails.
